Ingredients
For the Bars:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

For the Frosting:

2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper. -
Make Dough:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until combined. -
Bake Bars:
Press dough evenly into the pan. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely. -
Make Frosting:
Beat butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Add food coloring if desired. -
Frost & Serve:
Spread frosting over cooled bars. Top with sprinkles, cut into squares, and enjoy!
