Description

These flaky mini puff pastries are filled with a sweet strawberry filling and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for a quick dessert, brunch treat, or elegant party bite!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

  • ½ cup strawberry jam or preserves

  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, diced (optional)

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • 1 tbsp water

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Prepare Pastries:
    Cut puff pastry into 12 small rectangles or squares. Place a small spoonful of jam and a few diced strawberries in the center of half the pieces.

  • Seal and Brush:
    Top with remaining pastry pieces. Press edges with a fork to seal. Mix egg and water, then brush the tops with egg wash.

  • Bake:
    Bake for 12–15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

  • Cool & Dust:
    Let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
