Enjoy a classic Shrimp Boil that brings the taste of the coast to your table with tender shrimp, smoky sausage, and fresh vegetables boiled in flavorful spices.
Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, deveined and shells on
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
4 medium red potatoes, quartered
3 ears corn, cut into thirds
1 lemon, halved
4 cloves garlic, smashed
2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
4 cups water
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. In a large pot, bring water, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic, and lemon halves to a boil.
2. Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
3. Add corn and sausage, cook for 5 more minutes.
4. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
5. Drain and transfer everything to a large serving platter.
6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
Serve with melted butter or cocktail sauce for dipping.
Add extra spices if you like more heat.
