Make the Hot Honey:
Warm honey in a small pan or microwave. Stir in hot sauce and red pepper flakes. Set aside. -
Assemble the Bowls:
Start with a base of rice and greens in each bowl. Top with sliced chicken, avocado, cabbage, pickled onions, cheese, and seeds. -
Drizzle and Serve:
Generously drizzle hot honey over each bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
-
Try it with quinoa or farro instead of rice.
-
Make it dairy-free by skipping the cheese or using a plant-based alternative.
-
The hot honey also makes a great wing or pizza topping!
