These crostini are a bold, savory appetizer loaded with a garlicky olive-artichoke topping. Perfectly crisp, salty, and packed with flavor, they’re a hit for any gathering


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 12 rounds

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

  • 1 cup marinated artichoke hearts, chopped

  • ½ cup mixed olives, pitted and chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp capers (optional)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: ¼ cup crumbled feta or grated Parmesan


Instructions

  • Toast the Bread:
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil and toast on a baking sheet for 8–10 minutes until golden.

  • Make the Topping:
    In a bowl, mix chopped artichokes, olives, garlic, capers (if using), parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  • Assemble Crostini:
    Spoon the olive-artichoke mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.

  • Add Cheese (Optional):
    Sprinkle with feta or Parmesan for extra flavor. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a food processor for a more spreadable topping.

  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice or a drizzle of balsamic glaze for brightness.
