Ingredients

8 slices of brioche or soft white bread

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup strawberry jam or fresh sliced strawberries

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Butter or oil, for frying

Instructions

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Spread cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread. Top with jam or strawberries. Cover with remaining slices to make sandwiches.

In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and cinnamon.

Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry sandwiches 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
