Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). -
Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until fully browned. Drain excess fat. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using. -
Mix the Base:
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and mixed vegetables. Cook for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat. -
Assemble Casserole:
Spread the beef mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Arrange tater tots in a single layer over everything. -

Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until tots are crispy and golden. -
