Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

1/2 cup honey

1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup ketchup

2–3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried basil (optional)

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Green onions & sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions

Prepare Sauce:
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, basil, and pepper. -
Assemble in Crockpot:
Place chicken in the crockpot and pour sauce over the top. -
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and fully cooked. -
Optional – Thicken Sauce:
Remove chicken. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Stir into the sauce in the crockpot and cook on high for 10–15 minutes, or until thickened. Return chicken and coat with sauce. -
Serve:
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice, noodles, or veggies.

Add broccoli or bell peppers during the last hour for a complete one-pot meal.
