Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper. -
Make Crust & Topping:
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Cut in butter until crumbly. -
Assemble Bars:
Press half the crumb mixture into the pan to form the crust. Spread cherry pie filling evenly over it. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top. -
Bake:
Bake for 28–30 minutes until golden and set. -
Cool & Serve:
Let cool completely before cutting into bars. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
