2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tbsp ketchup

½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
4 slices provolone or American cheese

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart, about 5–6 minutes.
-
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
-
Lay cheese slices over the meat mixture, cover, and let melt for 1–2 minutes. Stir to combine.

Spoon the cheesy meat mixture onto toasted buns. Serve warm!
Notes
-
Try using hoagie rolls for a more authentic Philly-style vibe.
-
Swap provolone with mozzarella or pepper jack for extra zip.
-
Add mushrooms for a heartier bite or caramelized onions for sweetness.
