  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for slurry)

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Cook for 8–10 minutes until softened.

  • Stir in vanilla, then add the cornstarch slurry and cook another 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.
