1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 425°F (220°C). -
Prepare Apple Filling:
In a bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Set aside. -
Make Biscuit Dough:
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until dough forms. -
Assemble Biscuits:
Roll dough to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into rounds. Place a spoonful of apple filling on half the rounds, top with remaining rounds, and pinch edges to seal. -
Bake:
Place on baking sheet, brush tops with melted butter. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown. -
