Description

This refreshing slaw combines the sweetness of apple, the crunch of cabbage, and the peppery bite of radish for a colorful, healthy side dish. Perfect for barbecues, tacos, or light lunches!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups green cabbage, finely shredded

  • 1 apple (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), julienned

  • 45 radishes, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Optional: chopped parsley or dill for garnish


Instructions

  1. Make Dressing:
    In a small bowl, whisk lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper.

  2. Toss Slaw:
    In a large bowl, combine cabbage, apple, and radishes. Drizzle with dressing and toss well to coat.

  3. Chill & Serve:
    Let sit for 10–15 minutes for flavors to blend. Garnish with herbs and serve.

Notes

  • Best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 day.

  • Add a spoonful of Greek yogurt to the dressing for a creamy variation.
