Ingredients
2 whole garlic bulbs 2 teaspoons olive oil Salt to taste Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Remove loose outer skin from garlic bulbs but keep cloves intact. Slice about 1/4 inch off the top of each garlic bulb to expose the tops of the cloves. Drizzle olive oil over the exposed garlic cloves. Sprinkle with salt. Place garlic bulbs in air fryer basket, cut side up. Roast for 15-20 minutes until cloves are golden brown and tender. Remove and let cool slightly. Squeeze roasted garlic out of cloves or use as desired. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Use roasted garlic to spread on bread, mix into mashed potatoes, or enhance sauces. Adjust roasting time for softer or crunchier garlic. Store leftover roasted garlic in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
