Description

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered in a creamy, spicy-sweet bang bang sauce — this Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon is a quick, flavorful dish perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

  • 1 tsp lime juice

Instructions

  • Prep Salmon:
Pat salmon dry. Rub with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Air Fry:
Place salmon fillets in air fryer basket skin-side down. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes or until cooked through and lightly crispy on top.

  • Make Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice.

  • Serve:
Drizzle bang bang sauce over hot salmon or serve on the side. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by increasing or reducing sriracha.

  • Delicious served over rice, quinoa, or a bed of greens.

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo for a lighter sauce.
